Activities in PFRC
2009
PFRC is participating in the Annual Conference of Finnish Educational Research in University of Tampere (Nov. 26-27), PFRC’s home base, with a work group on critical pedagogy. The theme of the conference is “Education through Other Eyes”.

2008
• Summer School on Critical Pedagogy and Media Education. Teachers include Professor Peter McLaren, Assistant Professor Reijo Kupiainen, Assistant Professor Nathalia Jaramillo, Professor Juha Suoranta and Assistant Professor Tere Vadén. The aim of the Summer School is to advance doctoral students research projects in education, media education, media studies, arts, sociology or related fields. A special focus of the Summer School is on methodology and research methods.
